Dahlia was found in an abandoned homeless camp by a Gainesville non-profit called Operation Catnip. Leah, from Operation Catnip, contacted Critter Crew Katelyn, who immediately jumped into action the next morning. Our crew and Operation Catnip do not know Dahlia’s backstory, but her injuries are similar to those we have seen on pigs who jump from processing trucks, and she has an ear tag.
Despite the trauma of being left alone in the woods, Dahlia immediately opened up and is full of spunk. She is already playful and curious. She loves interacting with Dexter, JJ, and Bluey through the fence.
