About the Sanctuary

Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 nonprofit farmed animal sanctuary, wildlife refuge, and community organization. Our mission is to foster compassion for all animals through science-based rescue, outreach, and conservation. Founded by Erin and Chris Amerman in 2016, CCFS quickly grew to become the largest bovine sanctuary in the U.S., with three facilities totaling 420 acres.

Interested in Visiting Critter Creek?

Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary is not open to the public daily. We host a monthly farmers moo-ket, where visitors have the opportunity to meet our beloved animal residents, learn about their stories, and engage with our sanctuary community. Additionally, for a more personalized experience, individuals can schedule private tours to explore the sanctuary, interact with the animals, and gain deeper insight into our mission and values. We encourage you to explore the options below for more information on attending our moo-kets or arranging a private tour.
