Albert was born on an industrial pig farm in North Carolina. He was rescued from the NC42Save operation after he was deemed a “cull” piglet. He joined Critter Creek with other pigs including Oliver, Hog Solo, and Rupert.
Albert is the smallest of the big boys and is mostly deaf and blind. You’ll notice he swings his head back and forth when he walks to help him navigate. He’s a total sweetheart, but because of his lack of hearing and sight, he sometimes startles easily. Approaching him calming with a gentle touch on his back gets him ready to receive some belly rubs!
Albert receives his own private meal due to his lack of sight and hearing, and often ends eating by requesting a drink directly from the hose. Though he experiences his world a bit differently than his friends, it doesn’t stop him from doing most things!
